  • The City of Rigby is accepting applications for Planning and Zoning Administrator
    The person will be responsible for supervising the planning and zoning department, issuing permits, reviewing compliance with city building codes and regulations, scheduling board commission’s agendas and meetings, attending other meetings as directed by the mayor. The person will also be asked to develop a plan for economic development for the city.
    Minimum qualifications include high school diploma, prior experience/work in community development or public administration and/or planning and zoning work. Communications skills, in both verbal and written, are of high priority. Certification and/or training in the APA or AICP program is highly preferred.
    Salary is based on experience. The city is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Hours - minimum of 35 hours per week. This is a full time position. Salary is dependent on qualifications and prior work experience.

  • The City of Rigby’s Waste Water Treatment Plant is accepting applications for Summer/Temporary help (May - Sept).
    Job description includes: helping the plant operator, cleaning, mowing grass, and assisting with flushing the city’s sewer lines .
    Pay is $7.25/hr.
